Hines Co. (Apartments)

The Hines Co. (Hines) has purchased the land on Dresden between Fernwood Circle and Ellijay Drive and has filed for a permit to build 215 high end apartments on the site.  The plan calls for a 4 story building with a mix of one and two bedroom units renting for $1,000 – $1,500 per month.   The leasing office, fitness center and community room will be on the first floor along Dresden to give the street front a commercial, mixed-use look.

No rezoning is needed for this project and Hines’ intent is to design the complex to meet all Overlay zoning district requirements.  The Brookhaven Peachtree Community Alliance had a preliminary meeting with Hines and made some observations about how they could improve the streetscape and pedestrian experience along Dresden which they promptly implemented.
